"I am trying to understand and analyze the details of the reality surrounding and inside me mainly with the tools of statuary, hence not only through the language of sculpture. The selection of a particular genre and the intellectual content to be displayed are closely interconnected in my work.
For me, a statue is a mental object, the space is the psychological space, and a motion picture is the combination of both from a particular point of view. I try to create this content with the minimum of formality, thereby providing an appropriate framework for showing material changes which sometimes may even seem insignificant. Reflection, corrosion, erosion, centre of gravity, motion, wear, and absorbency are, in some cases, the central part of the message of my work. The context surrounding it often tends to push the envelope of genre boundaries, but it is trying to find the unity of our inner and outer world."
